The course has been designed to provide the student with a basic knowledge and an    understanding of the utilisation and development of applications using Microsoft SQL   Server. Examples will be developed using ADO.Net and ASP.NET technologies.  Special emphasis is given to the management of Geospatial data and the course is conducted using an example of a cadastral application that includes alphanumerical data management, vector cartography and associated rasters (images).
